In December 2020, OOO NPP ADAMANT reconstructed the SSHTSM-6.6/9 IZ electric furnace using new modern refractory and heat-insulating materials, which make it possible to reduce the thickness of the lining, reduce heat losses and accelerate the process of reaching the operating temperature.
The shaft-type electric resistance furnace SSHTSM is designed for carburizing, nitrocarburizing and heating products for hardening in a non-oxidizing atmosphere or an oxidizing atmosphere. A distinctive feature of this furnace is – uniform temperature distribution in the heating zone, precise digital adjustment of process parameters, high uniformity of the resulting carburized layer.
